Hi, I’m Haruka! I’ve coached 30+ expats in Japan, hosted cooking experiences for over 100 clients on the island, and developed a consistent daily meditation practice.

Shio-Koji Ginger & Garlic Tsukune with Okinawan Dragon Fruit Sauce
Juicy ground chicken meatballs seasoned with homemade Shio-Koji (fermented salty rice seasoning) for tender, umami-rich flavor. Mixed with fresh ginger and garlic, pan-grilled crispy outside, tender inside, and served with vibrant Okinawan dragon fruit sauce.
Pineapple Summer Salad
Enjoy a refreshing summer salad with cherry tomatoes, cucumber, and a bright dressing made from fresh Okinawan pineapple, rice oil, Okinawan citrus juice, Shio-Koji, and cumin.
Mango Bubble Delight
Mango is in season! I’ll also show you how to pick ripe mangoes and slice them perfectly to make a special dessert with white tapioca pearls and coconut milk.

Please note: This retreat is not suitable for individuals with rice or soybean allergies. It is also not vegetarian, as the meatball contains chicken.
I can often accommodate participants with gluten intolerance or celiac disease, and may be able to adjust for other allergies depending on the ingredients used in that class. However, each retreat’s menu is different, so please read the retreat ingredient list carefully before signing up.
Important: We use a shared kitchen space. While I do my best to keep ingredients separate and provide individual utensils, participants with allergies must attend at their own risk. Okinawa Healing Kitchen cannot be held responsible for any allergic reactions.

We understand that unexpected situations can happen.
Cancel 14+ days in advance: 96% refund (4% processing fee).
Cancel 7–13 days in advance: 50% refund.
Cancel within 6 days or no-show: non-refundable.
⏰ Arriving more than 15 minutes late may result in cancellation.
Rescheduling:
