Where Is This Retreat Hosted?

🚗 Getting Here:
If you’re flying into Naha Airport, we highly recommend renting a car, as community buses run infrequently.
✈Car Rental Recommendation: We suggest using OTS Rent-A-Car from Naha Airport. It takes approximately 1 hour and 40–50 minutes to reach Ōgimi from the airport.
What Should I Bring to This Retreat?
Please bring slippers/room shoes for the kitchen and a notepad. An apron is optional. We’ll provide a refreshing beverage in the kitchen, but you may also want to bring your own drink for the road.
What Time Does this Retreat Start?
I kindly ask everyone to arrive by 10:40 AM at the latest, as we’ll begin shortly after and aim to finish around 2:00 PM.

Hi, I’m Haruka! I’ve coached over 30 expats in Japan, hosted cooking experiences for more than 100 guests, and built a daily meditation practice that grounds my life.
I created this retreat as a peaceful space where you can slow down, reconnect with yourself, and experience Okinawa’s rhythms. Together, we’ll cook, explore, and enjoy moments of calm — leaving you refreshed and inspired to bring that sense of ease back home.

Please note: This retreat is not suitable for individuals with rice, coeliac/gluten intolerance or soybean allergies.
I can often accommodate participants with gluten intolerance or celiac disease, and may be able to adjust for other allergies depending on the ingredients used in that class. However, each retreat’s menu is different, so please read the retreat ingredient list carefully before signing up.
Important: We use a shared kitchen space. While I do my best to keep ingredients separate and provide individual utensils, participants with allergies must attend at their own risk. Okinawa Healing Kitchen cannot be held responsible for any allergic reactions.

Cancel 14+ days in advance: 96% refund (4% processing fee).
Cancel 7–13 days in advance: 50% refund.
Cancel within 6 days or no-show: non-refundable.

Yes, our facility has three air conditioners. However, the kitchen—though connected to AC rooms—doesn’t have a dedicated AC. I try to create menus that don’t generate too much heat, but I recommend wearing something cool and bringing a small electric fan if you want to stay extra comfortable.

Step 2: The payment link will be in JPY, but your credit card will typically show the amount in your local currency. If you’re booking for more than one person, I’ll provide a group payment link. Please complete payment within 48 hours to secure your spot.
Step 3: After payment, you’ll receive parking info & recipes 2 days before the retreat.
